A good dental operatory is a well planned, and well integrated environment. Handpieces are conveniently located, space is well utilized, and patients feel comfortable. Unfortunately, computers are often introduced into this carefully planned area without giving enough thought to usability, ergonomics, and aesthetics. This is sometimes the result of an insufficient understanding of the requirements (what will this be used for?); and sometimes due to an inability to mount screens, computers, and keyboards/touchpads/mice in the correct locations.

CompuDent Systems installs computers ONLY in dental offices, and we have carefully developed formulas and techniques to evaluate and install hardware in the right spots.

CompuDent can mount computers on dental chairs, in walls, on pull out brackets, on ceilings, and on counters; and help you evaluate which location best suites your requirements (is it a hygiene room or an OR? Will you use digital charting, digital-radiography, patient education, intra-oral cameras, digital cameras, or practice management software?).

Of course, we also install regular CAT5 and Telco cabling, install and configure computers, and get dental offices up and running even if they don’t need computers in the operatories.
